“you have to charge for this – seriously!”
It feels a little scary to be sharing my yoga self-practice secrets this way. I could go on and on about this topic (I could probably write a 500 page book about it) and so it was a real challenge to cut it down to the bones. But I wanted it to be the most streamlined, focused experience for you to go through. Without any extra fluff or information overwhelm but with 7 concise topics and a daily challenge for you to take action on.
So I’m sharing it now – partly because I just love chatting about this stuff, but also partly because deep down, I really believe that you can read all the books, watch all the videos, plan out all the stuff you have to get done to make yoga a regular part of your life but what most of us really need to do instead is to get stuck in – because we can always learn more as we go along.
Take the leap
It can be so tempting to get stuck in the daydreaming phase thinking of all the end results that will happen when we’re years into our yoga practice. If we’re actually doing something new we are running the risk of looking like a fool or even failing. But beautiful things will happen, I promise. All we really need is to take one small step in the right direction after the other. It’s all going to be worth it.
My goal with this guide is to provide you with that. Every day for 7 days a new topic with a daily challenge is covered. The daily challenges take no longer than 30 minutes so that once the 7 days are over, you will have established your own yoga self-practice. With the yoga space, the props, the techniques, the tools, and the mindset to create a fulfilling, regular yoga practice for yourself.
A practice that will not only help you build more strength, flexibility, and balance on the yoga mat but a practice that will also cultivate more empowerment, self-confidence, and joy in your real life too!

After I finished my ebook I sent it out to a few friends for a proof-read & some feedback, before I let it loose on the world. The feedback made me smile.
“I’m learning a lot and it’s making me want to start practicing yoga!”
“It’s so professional!”
“You must charge for this!!!” 😉
Despite my lovely friends’ protestations, I’m not charging for it – the 7 day guide is totally free. To be fully transparent, I should confess that I am slightly testing the waters here for the possibility of creating paid-for, in-depth courses and ebooks at some point in the future. But you’re under no obligation at all! 😉
7 days to a start a yoga self-practice
So this isn’t for everyone – but I think it’s for you. You, who feels pretty sure they could do what they see others doing, if they could just get focused. You who have big goals for yourself but struggle to the find time or motivation to nurture yourself. You who has a gorgeous creative mind, and needs the tools to get your yoga free flows to reflect that.
You, curious and adventurous reader of this excellent blog 😉
The 7 day yoga self-practice guide is made up of the things I most often tell people when they ask for my top tips. It’s a quick start guide to establishing an independent yoga practice in your home, with 7 awesome strategies to get you stuck in & help you focus on what you really want to achieve. All you need is 30 minutes a day, preferably with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, and some room to think and take the leap.
More to come
I’m hoping to offer some in-depth ebooks (perhaps full-length courses) by next summer, and I hope you’ll stick around to hear more about it. I’m going to be sharing all my tips, drills, step-by-step frameworks, and tools to start and grow in your yoga self-practice, learn to handstand, including the super geeky stuff I’ve never seen shared elsewhere. I’m pretty excited – and, of course, fairly terrified!
ps – If you have a minute, I’d love your answers to my little survey here to help me figure out what you want to know.
pps – already signed up but haven’t received it? Check your spam filter carefully – most people find it there! If it definitely isn’t, leave me a comment below and I’ll look into it! x
